A Texas high school teacher has been placed on leave after videos and images circulating showing his flamboyant, feminine dress and social media posts about the “baby gays” he mentors in the school’s Gay Straight Alliance.

The video of Rachmad Tjachyadi walking among students in a hot pink dress and matching shoes for a school spirit day on February 14 went viral after being shared by the social media account Libs of TikTok.

The account later posted pictures of the same teacher wearing a tutu while instructing his students and also sporting a full Ursula costume from The Little Mermaid on campus.

“We are aware of the video and the staff member has been placed on administrative leave while the district reviews the situation, which is standard procedure,” the school district said in a statement. “It would be natural for our families to have questions about this situation, but because this is a personnel matter currently under review, there is no additional information the district can share.”

Social media posts also show the teacher posing with the student members of the school’s Gay Straight Alliance. The Christian Post notes that a profile bearing the teacher’s name and image commented, “I need someone who can teach my GSA Baby Gays how to VOGUE properly!! The GSA kiddos want to present voguing during a cultural festival at our school in a few weeks.”

The students are posing for Black History Month in front of a LGBT “pride” flag and a poster honoring Stonewall activist and drag queen Marsha P. Johnson, the founder of the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries.
