Activist Groups Coordinating Massive White House Protest for Election Day

If you have been worried that the widespread civil unrest we’ve seen this year will only increase if President Donald Trump wins the election Tuesday, well, then I’d say you’re a very discerning person.

Fox News reports that the group Shutdown DC claims that thousands of people plan to “start this next phase of the election cycle in the street.”

Beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, activists will gather at Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington D.C., where screens will be set up to stream election results and the crowds are entertained by various performers.

“Votes will still be coming in, so this will (probably) not be the time we need to create disruption to stop a coup – yet. But we’ll be in a good place to respond to whatever might happen,” the website claimed. “This has been a really long and dark era so we’re going to be together to process our feelings of hope, anger, fear, and exhaustion as a community.”

As shocking as it is that they felt the need to clarify this would not be the time to “create disruption to stop a coup – yet,” it appears that, in fact, they are planning to create said disruption.

According to a series of leaked Zoom training sessions and documents allegedly reveal that Shutdown DC and Black Lives Matter are leading a nationwide effort to “shut down federal buildings, including the White House, and to meet members of Congress at public transportation portals when they’re scheduled to reconvene in Washington after the election.”

Fox News was unable to verify the documents and videos, nor would the Federal Bureau of Investigation confirm or deny an investigation. The DC Metro Police also did not respond to their request for comment.

A recording that purportedly was hosted over Zoon by the group “Sunrise Movement” featured Lisa Fithian, described by the far-left publication Mother Jones as “the nation’s best-known protest consultant.”

Fithian, referring to a map that displays all the police stations, key government buildings, media outlets, and buildings occupied by “Trump boosters” in the D.C. area, and discusses  “what would it take to surround the White House.”

“We’re facing an administration and a potential coup and a potential insurrection,” Fithian said. “Is there going to be a war? Are people gonna get killed? Like is that on anybody else’s mind? I’m guessing it is. We’re going to see potential fighting all over the country or in some hotspots, and we’ve already seen that, so how do we work together across the country to help support each other no matter where we are and to maximize our impact by doing similar things on similar days at similar times?”

She goes on to state the demonstrators who are willing to break windows on government buildings should go further and enter them.

“We have to be willing to put our bodies on the line and take on some discomfort and sacrifice risk in order to change things,” she declares.

“We are going to be in a crisis but we want to make sure it’s one that we are creating. We want them to be responding to us and us not responding to them. In a situation of a coup or an insurrection or an uprising, whoever’s got the guns, often can win. We should be clear. Trump’s gotta go,” she said.

The video of the call was posted to the YouTube account SunriseExposed, which has since–no big surprise here–been removed from the platform for violating community guidelines.

Meanwhile, The Associated Press reported that April Goggans, one of the core organizers for the D.C. Black Lives Matter affiliate, told participants in an October 26 Zoon online training session that “The police are readying for battle. We should be very clear about that,.”

Neither Fithian nor Goggans responded to Fox News’ requests for comment, the outlet notes, but they did view another leaked Zoom call that purportedly included federal attorneys and members of the intelligence community along with other federal workers discussing how to move beyond street protests and “slow the gears downs” within the federal system should the “election go sideways.”

The plans included employees stacking vacation hours and sick days in an attempt to slow down the bureaucratic processes.

The video remained up on YouTube as of our writing on Tuesday morning.

Millie Weaver of the investigative journalism site Millennial Mille was the first to obtain these explosive documents and video recordings. Weaver told Fox News on Monday that the clips posted to YouTube had been taken from lengthy Zoom recordings which she says reveal plans to “to exhaust emergency and law enforcement resources.”

Fox News notes that she also “said the different names listed as participants on the Zoom calls include federal employees with high-level administrative powers and even former State Department employees with experience related to government insurrections abroad.”

The outlet also notes that “Businesses in the downtown DC area have also already boarded up their first- and second-story windows in anticipation of repeated rioting and looting seen over the summer.”

Pray for our nation tonight, folks, and for our law enforcement officials. The left knows how severely threatened their ideology is by another four years of Trump. Let these chilling allegations of planned widespread unrest be yet another warning as to how important it is to get out there and vote.
