Amazon Caves to LGBT Pressure, Bans Faith-Based Books on Same-Sex Attraction

Whether it’s deplatforming their ideological opponents on the grounds of mythical “hate speech” or campaigning that those who disagree with their worldview be banned from social media, the LGBT faction of the left-wing mob will use every weapon at their disposal to quell all opposition.

In what amounts to a modern-day book burning, the LGBT mafia’s latest campaign has successfully pressured online retail giant Amazon to ban books on “conversion therapy” to help individuals with unwanted same-sex attraction.

The effort to pull the books was masterminded by just one man, UK-based Rojo Alan.

Pink News reports:

The main book in question was one called ‘A Parents Guide To Preventing Homosexuality’ by Joseph Nicolosi.

Rojo Alan wrote to Amazon several times asking it to remove Nicolosi’s books. After receiving no response, Alan made a Facebook post on May 31 calling for Amazon and Wordery to take down ‘a number of homophobic books.’ Wordery, according to Alan, responded within 24 hours and removed the books from its listings.

Initially, Amazon resisted Alan’s demands to have the book, which can still be purchased online from retailers like Barnes & Noble (for now, at least) on the grounds that the books did not violate any of their marketplace’s rules.

Undeterred, Alan persisted and began demanding that his social media followers load the book’s listing with fake negative reviews (which is, itself, a violation of Amazon’s review policy) while researching loopholes in Amazon’s rules that would qualify the book for banning.

Eventually, Amazon caved to the demands of the thoughtpolice and removed all of Dr. Nicolisi’s books from its website as of July 2nd.

This isn’t the first time Amazon has used its platform to enforce the exclusively-acceptable mainstream narrative on a controversial issue.

As The Daily Wire reports, Amazon has also banned several documentaries that question the safety, efficacy, and ethics of vaccination from its platform for similar reasons, including “We Don’t Vaccinate!,” “Shoot ‘Em Up: The Truth About Vaccines,” and “Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe.”

Of course, when it came to pro-pedophilia manual The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover’s Code of Conduct, Amazon had this to say before finally removing the disgusting book from their website:

“Amazon.com does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts; we do support the right of every individual to make their own purchasing decisions. Amazon.com believes it is censorship not to sell certain titles because we believe their message is objectionable.”

So which is it, Amazon? Unlike the “Pedophile’s Guide,” Dr. Nicolisi’s work posed no legitimate threat to the safety of any individual or group. What is it that allows his books, as well as documentaries on vaccine-hesitancy, to be lumped in with that disgusting pedophilia manual?

While that is a perfectly valid question we’d love to see Amazon answer, there is another far more pressing question at hand: will the Bible be next?

As Dr. Michael Brown writes for LifeSite News, it would be logical for Amazon to ban the Bible, upon which Dr. Nicolisi’s work is based, next:

After all, it is the Bible that condemns same-sex relationships and the Bible that speaks of those who once practiced homosexuality but do so no more (see 1 Corinthians 6:9-11). These people, today, would be known as “ex-gays.” And it was Dr. Nicolosi’s life work to help people with unwanted same-sex attractions.

Why, then, should Amazon ban his books but continue to sell the Bible, which provides the theological underpinnings for Dr. Nicolosi’s scientific work?

After all, gay critics of the Bible refer to the so-called “clobber passages,” referring to verses which have been used to speak against homosexual practice. If these verses, then, have brought such harm to the gay community, why shouldn’t the book containing these verses be banned?

Not only so, but there are numerous books on Amazon written by ex-gays, sharing their wonderful stories of transformation. Will their books be banned next?

And what about the books that come to different scientific conclusions than the LGBT activists and their allies? And the books that challenge the goals of LGBT activism in society? And the books that reiterate the Scriptural prohibition of same-sex relationships?

Will those books be banned next?

It would seem that Amazon, Alan, and their ilk do not care for the community they are attacking and marginalizing with their actions: former homosexuals and those with legitimately unwanted same-sex attraction.

Voice of the Voiceless, an organization made of and dedicated to serving such individuals, however, isn’t going to be silenced without a fight.

“We are outraged that a smear campaign by one individual (who stated here that he never read these books) could convince Amazon to censor all books, audiobooks, and Kindle material related to our experiences and viewpoints,” Voice of the Voiceless declares in a petition to reverse Amazon’s incredibly biased decision.

“For every major issue there are two sides to each story. For one side to be bullied and censored on every platform is counter to the values we have long held in common with Amazon,” the statement continues. “We demand an immediate reversal of this decision and the restoration of these and all other books that were removed on this topic[.]”

Time and time again, the actions of the left prove that if they can’t compel us to fall in line with their agenda of sexual perversion, they’re ready, willing, and able to silence us instead. We must not let them succeed.

Saints, please sign Voice Of The Voiceless’ petition and stand with the thousands who have already taken a stand against Amazon’s censorship. If one man can use lies to get these books taken down, surely thousands of us armed with the truth can vindicate Dr. Nicolisi’s work!

If you appreciate the work we are doing to fight the leftist assault on our values, please consider a small donation to help us continue. Thank you so much!
