Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden has unveiled his plan to advance the LGBT agenda should the Lord withhold His mercy and he win the presidential election in November.
The former vice president’s plan, released on Thursday, is based on several pledges he has already made on the campaign trail, including calling for passage of The Equality Act and a federal ban so-called “conversion therapy.”
“As president, Biden will stand with the LGBTQ+ community to ensure America finally lives up to the promise on which it was founded: equality for all,” the plan states. “He will provide the moral leadership to champion equal rights for all LGBTQ+ people, fight to ensure our laws and institutions protect and enforce their rights, and advance LGBTQ+ equality globally.”
The plan also declares that President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have “given hate against LGBTQ+ individuals safe harbor and rolled back critical protections for the LGBT+ community.”
The plan would lift Trump’s ban on transgender people serving in the military, declaring that “every American who is qualified to serve in our military should be able to do so – regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and without having to hide who they are.”
According to his plan, Biden would also create a third-gender option on U.S. government documents, as well as focus on advancing LGBT rights overseas.
“As president, Biden will restore the United States’ standing as a global leader defending LGBTQ+ rights and development and work closely with our partners and like-minded governments to ensure that violence and discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals do not go unchecked,” the plan says.
The plan also promises to appoint a special envoy and form a coalition of countries to advance international LGBT rights.
The plan was released shortly after Biden’s massive Super Tuesday wins in several state primaries, launching the candidate ahead of runners-up Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who dropped out of the race shortly thereafter.
According to The Washington Blade, Sanders’ plan for advancing the LGBT cause isn’t much different from Biden’s, with the exception of a mention that Sanders voted against the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, while Biden voted in favor of it.
Folks, don’t be deceived. Far-leftists would have us believe that Joe Biden is the moderate Democrat candidate. His extremism on the LGBT agenda proves that he is anything but.
If we are to continue to enjoy the tremendous liberty we have in this nation to follow God’s Word and believe every word it says, even regarding sexuality, we must not allow this man or any member of his party to take the White House in November!
