Austin Elementary School Invites Drag Queen With A Prostitution Record To Read To Children

For reasons we simply cannot fathom, an Austin, Texas-area drag queen with a history of prostitution has been granted access to young children yet again—this time in an elementary school.

As we reported back in August, the children of Austin were subjected to the grooming and psychological abuse of a Drag Queen Story Hour hosted by David Lee Richardson, a man who likes to don garish makeup and neon beehive wigs for his drag queen persona, “Miss Kitty Litter.”

What set Richardson’s “performance” for these poor children apart from the usual antics of any DQSH event was the fact that he was one of a growing number of drag queens found to have a criminal record. In Richardson’s case, as uncovered by Mass Resistance, he was arrested and convicted of prostitution back in 1996.

Attempts over the summer to snap the Austin City Council out of its “inclusive” stupor by Mass Resistance’s Austin chapter were unsuccessful. Apparently, the city is perfectly fine settling for a convicted criminal as long as the children get the exposure to “alternative” lifestyles that leftism demands.

In the time between then and now, Richardson’s social media accounts show that he has been quite busy participating in disgusting, over-the-top drag events that would make your toes curl. So, naturally, staff at the Blackshear Elementary School must have thought he’d be a great pick to come and visit with their young students.

A records request from Texas Values reveals that not only did Richardson know he would fail the school’s background check, the school apparently found a way around it and allowed him onto the premises for seven hours:

In the documents released to Texas Values, it was discovered that David Richardson, a.k.a. ‘Miss Kitty Litter ATX’ texted Blackshear Elementary School librarian Roger Grape that he was concerned whether or not he would pass the school background check. ‘Miss Kitty Litter’ texted, “So the guidelines for submission automatically disqualify me if the deferred adjudication for prostitution is considered a conviction . . . so I don’t know if ethical to submit.”

Richardson, the drag queen, is referring to his arrest and conviction of a Class B Misdemeanor charge for Prostitution. According to emails sent to parents the reading event was scheduled to take place at 11 am and all readers had been screened by Austin ISD Partners in Education. However according to school records, Robinson a.k.a. ‘Miss Kitty Litter ATX’ was at Blackshear Elementary School for an extremely long period of time from 7:25 a.m. until 2:11 p.m. It remains unclear why Richardson required such an extended period of time at the school, and why he was allowed to pass the screening with a prior criminal conviction.

Texas Values also notes that, while dressed in drag, Richardson also failed to wear an identifying name tag as required by school policy. Having successfully bucked the system in place to protect children from convicted felons, Richardson proceeded to read pro-LGBT books such as “Julian is a Mermaid” and “Red: A Crayon’s Story” in the school library to fifth graders.

Just one Blackshear Elementary School parent contacted the principal ahead of the event to express disapproval of a drag queen reading to children, but the school opted to move forward with the event and simply separate that parent’s child from the class for the period.

In another records request, this time to the Willis Independent School District a few hours east of Austin, Texas Values also discovered that another man’s fondness of dressing as a woman earned him the privilege of spending ten hours in the school as a guest cosmetologist.

Except, of course, he didn’t actually have a cosmetology license and therefore broke Texas law by applying makeup to students:

In Willis ISD, a drag queen stage named ‘Lynn Adonis’ visited a cosmetology class as a guest speaker. Records reveal the real of ‘Lynn Adonis’ is Jerred Bridges. The school check-in system reveals that Bridges was at Willis High School for a total of 10 hours, checking in at 7:03 a.m. and scanning out of the system at 5:19 p.m. Jerred Bridges spent more than twice as much time in the high school that day compared to other visitors.

According to an email from the Willis High School cosmetology teacher, the teacher concedes to the fact that Jerred Bridges is an entertainer and not a licensed cosmetologist. Jerred Bridges was allowed to make physical contact with students by applying makeup to them, despite having no license to do so.

Folks, we cannot allow this to go on. These schools have clearly demonstrated that they don’t care about the law—they don’t even care enough to protect their students from convicted criminals.

We can no longer place our trust in these institutions. They have no interest whatsoever in educating our children. Their only goal is to indoctrinate them and mold them into good little leftists who embrace debauchery and sin.

Reach out to the Austin and Willis Independent School Districts and demand that they answer for what they’ve subjected these poor children to. For failing to background-check a felon and allowing an unlicensed “cosmetologist” to practice on children, they may need to answer to more than just the parents, and rightfully so.

If you appreciate the work we are doing to fight the leftist assault on our values, please consider a small donation to help us continue. Thank you so much!
