Thanks to the left’s hijacking of the mainstream media and academia, it’s almost impossible to escape the downright lies and false narratives peddled by the LGBT movement. Now that schools are back in session, reports of inappropriate LGBT propaganda popping up in all educational settings are increasing.
According to Breitbart, the BBC has come out with a 9-part “educational” series called “Teach,” which is meant to supplement the personal, social, and health education (PSHE) curriculum in UK schools. The problem, however, is that the BBC is in the business of LGBT indoctrination. In one of the videos, which can only be viewed in the UK, BBC’s Relationships and Sex Education teacher Kate Daniels emphatically claims that there are over 100 genders.
In the video, aimed at students ages 9-12, Daniels, in response to a child’s question, says, “You know, there are so many gender identities. We know that we have got male and female, but there are over 100, if not more, gender identities now.”
What utter rubbish, as they would say in the UK.
Thankfully, not everyone is taking this latest LGBT propaganda push lying down. The Telegraph columnist Celia Walden had some ruthless commentary on the “educational” series. In her review, aptly titled How Dare the BBC Teach Children that there are 100 Genders, Walden boldly calls the program “noxious nonsense” meant to poison the minds of young, impressionable children and “a product of the modern ‘Emperor’s New Clothes gender diversity narrative.’”
And beyond my horror at the propagation of misinformation and the upholding of this noxious nonsense by a corporation whose journalistic duty it is to deal not in fads, but facts, is the fear that we’ll make this new generation of children as self-obsessed as the supposed grown-ups wilfully warping their minds.
Self-expression may have been prized since Ancient Egyptians first began daubing hieroglyphics, but not until the 1960s did it start becoming fetishised in the way it is today, when ‘expressing yourself’ no longer means appreciating individuality and producing something of wider cultural value to be enjoyed by others – a work of art, say, that might enrich the world around you – but folding in on yourself and behaving in an unashamedly selfish way.
It seems Walden is part of a dying breed of journalists who still operates with integrity and cares about facts and truth. The BBC is just plain wrong for making the decision to push gender-confusion on young, impressionable children whose minds are not mature enough to process it all. They are peddling lies, plain and simple.
To claim there are “over 100” genders is completely outside of the realm of reality. As Walden points out, “And, despite four years at medical school (where you’d hope the basics had been covered), your local GP will ‘only’ recognise six genders: male, female, gender-neutral, non-binary, gender-fluid and gender-queer.” This, of course, is still too many genders, but the fact remains that the BBC has zero empirical evidence to back up their false claim that there are over 100 genders, which they are teaching to small children as gospel truth.
This is solemn a reminder to all parents with children in the public school system. At the end of the day, it is our responsibility to protect and guide our children in the way of truth. It’s easy to take for granted that our children know that they are either a girl or a boy, but when surrounded by societal and peer pressures and the aggressive indoctrination from LGBT advocates, it’s hard to know what kind of effect this could have on each individual child.
How tragic it would be to send your child to school thinking they have a good grasp on something so basic as their gender only to realize one day that they were confused and you didn’t act early enough to save them.
Continue to pray for public school children who are forced to navigate through the false teachings and patent lies of the leftist-dominated system.
