Former Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly has called out his old network over its silencing of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as he cited progressive billionaire George Soros’ heavy hand in funding far-left Democrat candidates across the nation.
In a Wednesday appearance on Fox’s “Outnumbered”, Gingrich blamed Soros for the wave of riots in some Democratic- helmed cities, claiming that a slew of “progressive” district attorneys “overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’ money” have allowed criminals to roam the streets.
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner told Gingrich that he didn’t need to “bring George Soros into this.” Gingrich responded, asking if mentioning Soros is now “verboten.” Harris, in turn, simply stared in silence for several moments before changing the subject.
Newt Gingrich: "The number one problem in almost all the cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, antipolice pro-criminal district attorneys…"
Fox hos: "I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this."
Newt: "Okay… So, it’s verboten?"

In a Thursday night episode of his “No Spin News” show, O’Reilly accused Fox News of silencing Gingrich.
“I am not going to comment on the Fox News personnel there; I am going to tell you the truth right now, because Speaker Gingrich knows the truth,” O’Reilly said, according to Newsmax.

“So George Soros has donated $17 million to county races to get far-left, progressives into the district attorney’s office. That is a fact: $17 million,” O’Reilly declared. “Now, these are county races, so that’s an enormous amount of money.”
O’Reilly cited Soros’ $275,000 donation to Judge Diana Becton, describing her as a “D.A. who will not prosecute looters if they’re poor… She says, ‘Oh, they need it; it’s OK if they break into a store because they need what they’re stealing.”
O’Reilly then focused on Illinois State Attorney General Kim Foxx, who received $2 million from Soros. “This is a Jussie Smollett total fraud,” he said. “She was in charge of that.”
In Philadelphia, D.A. Larry Krasner received $1.5 million from Soros, O’Reilly continued, stating that “Krasner doesn’t want to keep anybody in jail, no cash bail, nothing. Let everybody out. Violent criminals, yeah, OK. Philadelphia’s a mess.”
O’Reilly also noted Missouri Attorney General Kimberly Gardner, who received received $68,000 from Soros and is attempting to prosecute Mark and Patricia McCloskey for felony use of weapons after the couple defended their home against trespassing protesters.
“So Gingrich is absolutely correct,” O’Reilly declared. “Absolutely right. Now, none of the people on the panel seem to understand what Gingrich is talking about. I think that’s a fair assessment.”
“But the rule is if you invoke the name George Soros, then you’re anti-Semitic, because Soros is Jewish,” O’Reilly went on. “He’s a secular Jew; he’s not a practicing Jew. Not that it matters.”
“This is a factual story,” O’Reilly concluded.
For her part, Harris Faulkner addressed the awkward silence in a later edition of “Outnumbered.”
“Do we debate with fire here? Yes,” Faulkner stated.. “But we must also give each other the space to express ourselves. As the only original member of the six-year-old amazing daytime ride known as ‘Outnumbered,’ I especially want to rock ‘n’ roll with every voice and perspective at the table.”

“We don’t censor on this show,” she concluded. “And that’s why we are winning weekdays at noon.”
