Oh, modern feminism…the philosophy that simultaneously insists that women are just as valuable and worthy as men and also insists that women become like men because obviously being like men is being better than women.
Or something.
This kind of confusing, anti-woman philosophy has finally breached into one of the last strongholds of the celebration of manhood: the Boy Scouts.
You guessed it-the Boy Scouts will now allow girls.
It is apparently not satisfying enough to girls that there is a version of the Boy Scouts that was created just for them–the Girl Scouts.
And to be clear, the Boy Scouts is not admitting “transexual boys” aka girls who want to be boys, because, by the holy laws of political correctness, the Boy Scouts would be forced to acknowledge that these children were in fact boys in spite of the fact that they were girls.
No, the Boy Scouts are simply admitting regular old, non-gender confused girls, to whom the Girl Scouts are simply not satisfactory enough because….feminism.
“We believe it is critical to evolve how our programs meet the needs of families interested in positive and lifelong experiences for their children,” announced Michael Surbaugh, chief executive of the Boy Scouts, on Wednesday according to NBC News.
The National Organization for Women began urging, well, most likely more like nagging, the Boy Scouts to begin accepting girls when they were able to find a sweet little New York teenager, Sydney Ireland, to politicize.
“I just want to do what the Boy Scouts do — earn the merit badges and earn the Eagle Award,” Ireland told NBC News. “The Girl Scouts is a great organization, but it’s just not the program that I want to be part of. I think girls should just have the opportunity to be a member of any organization they want regardless of gender.”
And see, right here is everything wrong with our country right now. What the entire movement of gender confusion and gender equity is based on is that if little boys and little girls don’t like something about their life, right down to their very biology, they can simply complain enough until adults change it for them.
Why are we allowing this to happen? Why aren’t we teaching the Sydney Irelands of the world that if she thinks the Boy Scouts should accept girls, she needs to simply deal with that and do the best she can in some other organization?
The Boy Scouts were created for boys. There are very few spaces in our culture anymore that help young, male minds to grow and develop into men, without being shamed for their gender and constantly beat over the head with gender rhetoric.
The leftist agenda is, plain and simple, determined to destroy the American male, and they know exactly where to aim their efforts: at our little boys.
At the end of the day, no amount of political correctness or policy changes to our nation’s boyhood institutions are going to change the fact that boys and girls are fundamentally different.
Sadly, as little girls and little girls are raised being told they can change this, they will be the ones to suffer the most from this psychotic assault on their young, impressionable minds as they struggle in a world that simply doesn’t bend according to their will, no matter how much they whine about it.
Don’t let this psychosis happen to your children, particularly your boys! We need to raise up young men who know how to be men, and won’t be forced to sacrifice their masculinity for the sake of political correctness. Teach your children that God designed them in the bodies they are in for a reason, and that it is never anything to be ashamed of!
Let boys be boys, girls be girls, and for goodness sakes, let kids be kids!!
