After going viral for a tweet in which she succinctly connected the celebration of a Hollywood actor wearing a dress for a Vogue cover to the erosion of civilization as we know it, Candace Owens isn’t backing down.

Earlier this week, the conservative commentator noted the December issue of Vogue Magazine which boasts singer and actor Harry Styles wearing a dress on its cover.

As an aside, Styles also discussed with the magazine his support of Black Lives Matter, declaring that “it’s a time for opening up and learning and listening.”

As for his clothing choice, Styles told the magazine, “There’s so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. I’ve never thought too much about what it means — it just becomes this extended part of creating something.”

While a leftist rag like Vogue praised Styles for daring to be unconventional, Owens saw it as a harbinger of the acceleration of western society’s self-destruction.

“There is no society that can survive without strong men,” Owens lamented. “The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence.”

“It is an outright attack,” Owens concluded. “Bring back manly men.”

Unsurprisingly, Owens’ call to restore respect for masculinity was met with a massive backlash, including from Hollywood A-listers like Olivia Wilde who simply called her “pathetic.”

To her great credit, however, Owens refused to back down.

“Since I’m trending I’d like to clarify what I meant when I said ‘bring back manly men,'” she responded.

“I meant: Bring back manly men,” Owens concluded. “Terms like ‘toxic masculinity’ were created by toxic females. Real women don’t do fake feminism. Sorry I’m not sorry.”
