A Christian woman working at Planned Parenthood recently called into The Line Of Fire with Dr. Michael Brown to express the incredible guilt and shame she feels as a result of her job.
“As ironic as it sounds,” the woman – whom Dr. Brown does not name – begins, “I’m totally against abortion.”
“I talk to my friends because I have felt a lot of guilt by working there. And they say, ‘well, you’re not doing the procedures, you’re just doing an administrative position so you’re not really contributing,'” she continues.
“But I still feel really, really guilty. I took the job because I was a single mom at the time and it paid extremely well but I just haven’t felt the same.”
Getting into her question, the woman asks Dr. Brown, “I wonder, I know we have to answer to God for everything that we do. But, will I be judged the same way that He would judge somebody who actually has abortions and things like that or, how do you think God sees that?”
In a heartbreaking moment, the woman’s voice begins to crack as she asks, “do you think I’m too far gone to come back?”
Dr. Brown begins his response with incredible softness and kindness – not condemning the woman one bit, despite being well aware of the horrors of the baby-slaughtering company his guest works for.
“You’re not too far gone to come back,” he declares. “But you need to get out of there. You’ve got no business working there. But God’s merciful and compassionate and he understands your struggles. You’re a single mom, all the issues you’re dealing with, there is forgiveness. Jesus died for any and all sins you’ve committed and it’s not that you have left God entirely, you’ve just made a wrong decision.”
“It’s one that’s understandable,” he continues. “But it’s absolutely wrong. You need to get out of there and trust God for your next step and he won’t fail you. You’re not going to end up sleeping on the streets somewhere.”
“Because you’re his child, you don’t feel right. Because you’re his child, you’re under conviction. Because you’re his child, the joy isn’t there and it can’t be because you are facilitating people’s abortions.”
The woman, fully into tears at this point, proceeds to confess the horrors of what she sees working at Planned Parenthood – including the sights she beholds in the room where the clinic keeps the aborted babies.
“It’s not tissue,” she cries. “They are babies.”
Listen to the full incredibly powerful interview below.
Please take a moment to pray for this woman and any other individuals who might be in similar situations.
Working for a sick organization, as Dr. Brown states so eloquently in the interview above, is a sin – no doubt.
But thankfully, this woman – and likely many others – have the issue of their sin resting on their conscience. God can work with that and he will, as long as they repent and turn from their ways.
Please pray that they might be able to do that.
