CNN has never met a line that it wasn’t willing to cross to advance the liberal agenda, but the network is engaging in an incredibly reckless fashion over the past few days.
While fear-mongering has been a staple of the network’s ‘reporting’ for years, it’s digging further into the bag of tricks to use race baiting in an astronomical fashion.
The network is fanning the flames as much as possible, and it’s unclear what the endgame is. Does CNN simply want the divisiveness to spread to the point that there’s no turning back? It certainly seems that way.
In its latest of a string of unconscionable recent efforts, CNN has decided to go ahead and publicize a list of “hate groups.” So was this list the result of hours and hours of research by the crack journalism team at CNN headquarters?
Nah, they just grabbed one from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and ran with it.
This list just so happens to include Christian lobby groups such as the Family Research Council and Alliance Defending Freedom.
Allow that to sink in for a moment. CNN and SPLC are lumping those with opposing, Christian, viewpoints into the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis.
Catherine Davis, Founder and President of The Restoration Project, had a chat with LifeSite news, and she made some fascinating points. Davis notes that “CNN and most if not all of the mainstream media are now doing what William Randolph [Hearst] did in the 1800s.”
She adds that they’re akin to a “propaganda machine operating to take America down from within,” and that they’re “starting a war based on a false narrative of race baiting and hate.”
That’s incredibly well said. CNN caters to the liberal echo chamber. We get it. However, serving those interests doesn’t seem to be enough for the network anymore. They’re pushing even harder, and that could have disastrous consequences for those that see things differently.
As LifeSiteNews points out, the list CNN has propagated is the very same list a man by the name of Floyd Lee Corkins used to justify shooting a security guard at the Family Research Council’s Washington office.
Speaking with police following the incident, Corkins stated he targeted the group specifically because of the SPLC’s list deeming them as “anti-gay.”
That’s more than food for thought. That’s downright scary, and CNN doesn’t seem to care even a little bit.
