A drag performer and LGBT activist who was invited to the White House this week has gained attention from critics over a vulgar tweet that declared “kids” are “out to suck D!”

Marti Cummings celebrated his invitation to the People’s House on Twitter this week, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to President Joe Biden for including him in the celebration to mark the signing of the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, which codifies protections for same-sex marriage into law.

“To be a non binary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen. Thank you President & Dr. Biden for inviting me to this historic bill signing. Grateful doesn’t begin to express the emotions I feel,” Cummings, who heads up multiple LGBT organizations and ran for office in New York City, wrote.

Although Cummigs’ account is on private, other Twitter users highlighted some of his problematic past tweets and posts.

Cummings appears to have a career that has been immersed in blatant sexual content, while simultaneously touting his work appearing in drag for children’s events.

“I love doing Drag Story Hour. Despite what conservatives say, this family friend event is a way to spread joy, teach acceptance & love,” he wrote in one Instagram post along with a photo of himself in drag, surrounded by toddlers. “A way to bring people together. Kids just want to hear their favorite stories…keep spreading hate because I’m gonna keep spreading joy.”

According to Summit News, in one video, Cummings bragged about having sex with 52 different men in one year.
