Drag Queen Story Hour Carries On Despite Pandemic With Masks, Social Distancing, and Videos

While the pandemic drags onward, Drag Queen Story Hours are taking advantage of new methods in order to carry on their mission of exposing children to the hyper-sexualized “art form” in the name of promoting literacy.

The vast closures imposed by governments across the nation to continue mitigating the coronavirus pandemic have pushed many businesses to adapt to a virtual or outdoor model of service whenever possible.

Unfortunately for our once-moral society, drag queens and the venues who host them are no different and have been using Zoom, Facebook Live, or Instagram Live to continue the program of reading children’s books about drag, gender, and identity to impressionable young kids.

A quick scroll through the official Drag Queen Story Hour page on Facebook demonstrates that the pandemic hasn’t slowed down these drag queens one bit.

@mrsyukalayme of @dqshne will be hosting a super cool story hour via Unitarian Church of Lincoln Zoom! Check out their FB page for the details! #dqsh #dragqueenstoryhour #storyhour #storytime #dqshne

The page also shares fan videos of children being indoctrinated into accepting the mocking of women by flamboyant men:

The page even promoted a public service announcement by one drag queen reminding children to keep practicing social distancing, washing their hands, and wearing masks:

I suppose if there’s even a hint of a silver lining in this situation, it’s that a drag queen can’t very well invite children to lay on top of him and—should DQSH keep up its miserable record of failing to background-check performers—any predators will not have physical access to children.

The psychological damage inflicted on the impressionable young mind of the child, however, is no less serious.

Pray for the generation of children being raised to accept and celebrate this insanity.
