Elizabeth Warren Rips Christian Schools For Biblical, “Anti-LGBT” Policies

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, like the rest of her fellow Democrats, may like to pay lip service to the notions of liberty and inclusivity, but her words and deeds speak volumes as to just how little she thinks of Bible-believing Christians in this nation.

On Sunday, the Democratic presidential candidate tweeted an article highlighting Christian private schools with “anti-LGBTQ+ policies.”

The article, from The Huffington Post, discussed a U.S. Supreme Court case attacking private schools in Montana and looking to end tax credits to individuals who contribute to such schools who “discriminate against LGBTQ staff and employees.”

Such dastardly, insidious policies include requiring people to use bathrooms based on their biological sex and hiring faculty and staff who abide by Christian values, especially with regard to sexuality. In a Christian school? How shocking.

“(T)he program at the center of Espinoza v. Montana Department of Revenue, which the Supreme Court is hearing later this month, provided tax credits to individuals and corporations that donated to private schools and scholarship groups,” the article explained.

Four of the 13 schools in Montana’s tax credit program have implemented policies that the leftist publication considers anti-LGBTQ. HuffPost proceeded to cite selections from each school’s handbook:

Foothills Community Christian School’s handbook says “there is no room for a non-Christian or an uncommitted Christian” to teach at the school.

Heritage Christian School says in its handbook that it reserves “the right to reject students based on ‘sexual conduct (including but not  limited to sexual activity outside of marriage, lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender conduct).”

According to Stillwater Christian School’s handbook, the school requires that “students and campus visitors must use restrooms, locker rooms, and changing facilities conforming with their biological sex.”

Helena Christian School’s handbook states that “God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.”

Each one of these gets a hearty “amen” from me!!

Sen. Warren, however, was not so thrilled.

“States should focus on funding public schools, not private ones — especially ones that maintain anti-LGBTQ+ policies. We must ensure every kid–especially LGBTQ+ kids–can get a high-quality public education,” Warren tweeted.

I’m sorry, but don’t states already fund public schools through extortive taxation?

This is cold, hard socialism, folks. People like Warren despise school choice. They’d rather keep throwing money at our broken, inefficient public schools.

Hilariously enough, however, Warren sent her own children to a Kirby Hall, a high-end private school near Austin, Texas, back in the ’80s. Kirby Hall’s current tuition for kindergarten through middle school is $14,995 per year and a year of high school tuition is $17,875.

The hypocrisy here is stunning. Elizabeth Warren should be able to send her children to whichever school she pleases, yet she is fighting tooth and nail to deny that same opportunity to Americans who aren’t wealthy lawyers and college professors like she was.

I guess the rest of us underlings should just be thankful for the opportunity to send our children off to government indoctrination camps where they’ll come out barely literate but will be able to recite every letter in the ever-expanding LGBTQIA+ acronym.
