Jews Forced To Flee France Because Of Anti-Semitism Among Growing Muslim Population

The Jewish people of Israel and abroad have had a rough go of things throughout world history, particularly during the horror show that was the Holocaust in World War II.

One would think with all of the progress we’ve made as a nation and as a people, surely we’d be beyond prejudices like this by now, right? Wrong.

It seems people are forgetting all about the terrifying things done to Jews by hate-filled dictators like Adolph Hitler and are in danger of allowing history to repeat itself, this time in Paris at the hands of the ever growing Muslim population.

In fact, things are getting so bad in France for Jews that many of them are leaving the country due to the increasing hostilities they are facing from Islamists who have taken advantage of the lax borders and immigration policies employed by European countries.

Conservative Tribune has more:

“This ‘internal exodus’ is difficult to quantify, but it is clear that many synagogues of Seine-Saint-Denis have closed, for lack of people,” explained the French language news magazine 20 Minutes, which was translated to English.

“In Pierrefitte, the rabbi has recorded a 50 percent decline in the congregations since his arrival thirteen years ago,” continued the report.

Jewish people who are feeling the political winds change express a growing sense of unease in the country that once welcomed them.

“It’s hard to explain, it’s provocations, it’s looks,” worried the leader of a synagogue in Bondy, which is about seven miles from the center of Paris. “There are places where we do not feel welcome.”

How tragic is it that these folks can’t simply enjoy living in Paris and participating in its culture without feeling like they are being targeted by radical Muslims who have a death wish.

Other rabbis have also echoed this sentiment, noting that many Jews in the city of Paris have to hide their kippas or Star of David for fear of Muslims performing acts of violence on them.

Sammy Ghozlan, president of a Jewish group called BNCVA, recently spoke with the media about the increase in anti-Semitic behavior and sentiment.

“For a long time, Jews were targeted through their symbols — today, people themselves are targeted directly,” Ghozlan said.

More than 5,000 departures have been recorded since last year, and that’s on top of the 7,900 that bolted in 2015 and the 7,231 from 2014, bringing the grand total of Jews to leave France up to 40,000.

What’s really aggravating about this situation is that leftists won’t call out Muslims for their racism and hatred, opting instead to pander to this demographic going the distance to make it a protected class.

Why are they doing this? Who knows, but you can bet your bottom dollar it has a whole lot to do with keeping political power.
