A frightening precedent was set in Oregon this week which places the interests of gender-confused students over the interests of every other student for the sake of the rest of the students.
Intersectionality is a caste system, and the most prominent and extreme example of this is how many people, particularly women and children, are placed in uncomfortable and unsafe situations for the sake of making .1% of the population feel “validated”.
WND reports:
The transgender agenda in public schools, which insists a person’s sex is a subjective matter based on feelings, took a huge step forward this week with a federal judge ruling boys must be allowed to use girls’ rest rooms and showers, and vice versa.
U.S. District Court Judge Marco Hernandez in Oregon did offer an alternative, however: Parents who object to mixed-sex showers for their children can take them out of the schools for which they pay.
His ruling failed to address the fact that if they homeschool send them to a private school, as do many with such concerns, they must not only pay for their local public school but also for a second round of costs.
“It is within Parent Plaintiffs’ right to remove their children from Dallas [Oregon] High School if they disapprove of transgender student access to facilities,” the judge said.
“Once the parents have chosen to send their children to school … their liberty interest in their children’s education is severely diminished.”
His ruling, however, conflicts with President Trump’s rescinding of an Obama administration guidance letter directing schools that want to continue to receive federal funding to let transgender students use facilities that correspond with their “gender identity.”
Hernandez, who was appointed by Obama, rejected the claims from Parents for Privacy, Kris Golly, Jon Golly, Lindsey Golly, Nicole Lille, Melissa Gregory and Parents Rights in Education against the Dallas School District No. 2 and the Oregon Department of Education.
The public school system has swayed so far from its original mission to simply educate future generations.
Not only have they banned the biblical principles our nation was based on from the classroom, they’ve replaced them with a radical ideology that stands opposed to everything our nation stands for.
It’s far beyond graphic sex ed, which is already encouraging millions of young children to believe that promiscuity, homosexuality, and abortion are totally OK, putting them at risk of STDs, unwanted pregnancies, and incredibly unhealthy spiritual and emotional behavior.
Twenty years ago, the left told us there was a “girl crisis” in our schools, but while those claims were dubious to begin with, they’ve clearly stopped caring about girls all together, and have no problem forcing them to share the bathroom or locker room with biological boys.
What will it do to these girls’ confidence, to their sense of security in their own school, not to mention their own skin, to tell them their rights aren’t as important as biological boys who are confused about their gender?
Public schools are doing little more but to push a blatantly godless ideology and put our children at constant risk of a host of physical and spiritual threats. This is why parents like you need to stand up and push back. It’s not too late to change the culture for the better.
But things have already gotten this bad in such a short period of time–so we need to act now, before it is too late.
