The Kansas GOP Just Made a Resolution on Biological Gender That Everyone Should Get Behind

The Kansas state Republicans voted this week on a resolution that would affirm that gender was determined by God’s design and not by personal identity.

The Kansas GOP has, in essence, laid out everything that needs to be said about the gender insanity movement that constantly threatens to undermine parents and subject children to reckless “treatment” at the hands of progressive, ideologically-charged “science”.

The wording of the resolution is powerful and significant, and clearly lays out the fallacy of the transgender movement and the push to “affirm” gender confusion, particularly in children. It reads in full:

WHEREAS, all persons are created in God’s image and, therefore, have inherent dignity and inalienable rights; and

WHEREAS, God’s design was the creation of two distinct and complementary sexes, male and female; and

WHEREAS, transgenderism differs from hermaphroditism or intersexualism in that the sex of the individual is not biologically ambiguous; and

WHEREAS, some Kansas public schools are encouraging parents and teachers to affirm the feelings of children experiencing gender dysphoria; and

WHEREAS, multiple states have begun to prohibit licensed counselors from any attempt to assist children struggling with gender dysphoria; and

WHEREAS, these cultural currents run counter to God’s created order and violate the dignity of every human being; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Kansas Republican Party recognizes the dignity of every human being, including those who identify as LBGT; that we affirm God’s design for gender as determined by one’s bodily identity to conform with one’s perceived gender identity, that we oppose all efforts to validate transgender identity; that we recognize the fundamental right of parents to guide their child’s education; that public schools should not undermine the values of parents who do not agree with transgenderism; and that students have a reasonable expectation of privacy and safety at school.

Naturally, the left and the press (but I repeat myself) have been bashing the bill, bringing up arbitrary, vague objections to how “harmful” it is to “transgender youth”, which is ironic considering these are the people normally advocating for giving elementary-school-age students life-altering hormone treatment and allowing men in the girl’s locker room.

This resolution is nothing profound. It is clear, acknowledges reality, and boldly affirms what every Christian needs to be standing up for right now: common sense and religious liberty.

The transgender zealots are the ones who have drawn the line in the sand, constantly demanding everyone else “affirm” someone’s delusion rather than simply address the mental illness that has caused someone, particularly a young child, to “feel like” they are a member of the opposite sex.

They are the ones who have decided that it is bigoted to treat someone with gender dysphoria as anything other than what they say they are, which, if this were true for any other troubling behavior in a child or teenager, we would absolutely take a different approach as a community.

The Kansas GOP has done nothing wrong by stating the facts as they are: those with a Biblical and scientific worldview have the right in this country to affirm that gender is a biological reality, not a social construct, and we will not be forced into validating someone else’s fascistic ideology of gender identity.

Children and adults alike suffering with gender dysphoria need help, not to be lied to and pumped full of drugs. It is time this madness stops, and we are glad to see the Kansas GOP taking the lead! Let’s make this a trend!

Be sure to contact your state Republican party and let them know you support the Kansas Republican party’s resolution on transgenderism and ask them to consider a similar resolution affirming God’s design for gender and religious liberty!
