Leftist Student Asks Ben Shapiro Why Fetuses Have Moral Value, Brutal Take Down Ensues

Last night was Ben Shapiro’s highly-anticipated speech at the free speech warzone that is the University of California Berkeley. Shapiro, a staunch conservative who is famed for his debate skills and ability to destroy all leftist arguments in his sleep, was approached by a self-proclaimed “left-leaning” student during the Q&A following his speech about the moral value of life in the womb.

This leftist student was clearly unfamiliar with Ben’s work, or he probably would not even have dared to put himself in the position to get as completely and brutally schooled on the sanctity of life in the womb as he did.

At any rate, Ben’s answer was, as usual, completely perfect.

When he asked Ben explain why he believed a first-trimester fetus has moral value, the student was already in over his head.

“A first-trimester fetus has moral value because whether you consider it a potential human life or a full-on human life, it has more value than just a cluster of cells,” Shapiro said. “If left to its natural processes, it will grow into a baby.”

Ben challenged the student to think about where he would draw the line, like an ideological shark circling his prey.

“Are you going to draw the line at the heartbeat? Because it’s very hard to draw the line at the heartbeat, there are people who are adults who are alive because of a pacemaker,” he said. “Are you going to do it based on brain function? OK, well what about people who are in a coma, should we just kill them?”

Human life either “has intrinsic value or it doesn’t,” he stated bluntly.

The student, still unaware of just how doomed his argument was in front of such an accomplished conservative mind, confidently explained that he assigned value to life based on “sentience, not necessarily being human.”

As you can imagine, Ben was already way ahead of him.

“So when you’re asleep, can I stab you?” he asked.

“I’m still considered sentient when I’m asleep?” the student responded.

“OK, if you are in a coma from which you may awake, can I stab you?” Ben continued.

“Well, then, uh, no,” the student said, as he tried to explain that when he was in a coma, he would still have “potential sentience.”

He was done for.

“I agree it is potential sentience. You know what else is potential sentience? Being a fetus,” Ben concluded.

There is most likely a Ben Shapiro thug life music…
