LGBT Activists Offer to Help Kids Run Away From Home to Stay With “Queer-Friendly” Adults

In a scheme that sounds like a dream come true to child predators, a group of activists is offering to help LGBT-identifying children run away from home and be placed with a “queer-friendly” adult.

The Pride Liberation Project, the group behind an Astro-turf “walk out” protest among high school students protesting Virginia policy that would prohibit schools from keeping a child’s professed gender identity from their parents, claims on an online message board to have “support resources” for “outed students” who “need to leave their home,” The Daily Wire recently reported.

Of particular concern is that many of the resources the group professes to have available for minors is through helping children to falsify evidence of where they have been or to pay for them to be picked up in ride shares.

“We’re creating this channel as a way for everyone to understand the mutual aid and support resources the PLP has available for outed and in-crisis students! For full transparency, this channel is catered to outed students who are facing familial rejection or need to leave their home for another reason,” the organizer of the high school walkout, Aaryan Rawal, wrote on a “#resources-for-outed-students” channel on the group’s internal message board.

“In the event of you needing to leave your home, we can provide you with emergency housing from a supportive, Queer friendly adult,” he wrote, according to The Daily Wire’s exclusive report.

Rawal added a cautionary “Please note that this adult will likely be white.”

“We may not be able to provide you that housing the same night, but we anticipate that we can secure someone to take you in within 1-2 days, and we will work with other supportive adult organizations in the region to find you someone who can provide you a kind and affirming home,” he also explained.

The group is also apparently prepared to use its funds to pay for “Ubers, Lyfts, and other passes” should students “need to leave immediately.”

“Some students or adults may also be able to come get you individually,” Rawal also wrote.

The Pride Liberation Group is also apparently equipped with sending funds to minors trying to leave their homes and may even be able do so anonymously in some cases.

“In the short term, we can provide a couple of hundred dollars immediately. We can send this to you through Venmo or Zelle. Please note that it’ll say the money comes from the PLP account, but we may be able to change the name if needed.”

The report begs the question as to the legality of these arrangements, and why a child would ever be in so much danger that they’d need to be whisked away by a privately funded rideshare vehicle without involving public social services. Would such an occurrence even be legal?

If you’re thinking this sounds like human trafficking, you’re not alone.

“It is irresponsible and reckless to the extreme to be doing this with other people’s kids,” David Gordon, head of the conservative group the Virginia Project, told the Daily Wire. “The way this operation works is nearly identical to sex trafficking.

“This could never be underwritten by any insurer. The chance of one of these kids ending up being sexually abused is almost certain,” he said.

As the outlet noted, this is the same group behind a coordinated walkout protest at Virginia high schools meant to protest a policy that would require schools to disclose a student’s professed gender identity to his or her parents.

Rawal said in group message boards that participants could be reimbursed $25 for protest expenses and admitted during a call that many of the students were only really interested in skipping school.

He and his fellow activists cheered the fact that the students who didn’t care about the issues still helped give their cause credibility in the eyes of the public.

“The goal of mass mobilization is not necessarily make people care about an issue… the primary goal is to give us credibility in the eyes of lawmakers,” he said during a call with fellow organizers, according to a previous Daily Wire report. “For the 30 people who actually know what the policy is, and who actually know how they’re gonna advocate, those people suddenly have a lot of credibility when they talk to our Virginia lawmakers.”
