LifeSite Twitter Locked After Tweeting Article About “Jessica” Yaniv

Twitter makes no secret of the fact that they are not an unbiased social media platform. They very much cater to the radical LGBT agenda, putting anyone who identifies as such on a platform and punishing anyone who dares express any dissenting opinion.

Now, the pro-life and very conservative LifeSite has been locked out of their Twitter account for apparently “violating” one of its “rules,” though the network has not specified which rule that would be, after the media outlet tweeted an article about Jonathan “Jessica” Yaniv, the infamous transgender activist who was recently upset over the fact that gynecologists refuse to see him as a patient.

As we have previously covered, the notorious Yaniv first gained infamy when he tried to sue a group of female beauticians who refused to render him a certain waxing service by definition only applicable to female anatomy, while Yaniv himself is an intact biological male.

LifeSiteNews reports:

Yaniv is famous for taking 15 beauticians to the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal over their refusal to wax his genitals, a battle he ultimately lost.

Twitter gave LifeSiteNews the option to delete the tweet and reactivate our account immediately. But instead we have launched an appeal of the decision.

Twitter claimed that the tweet violated its rules, but didn’t specify which ones. Twitter cites three main categories in its rules: safety, privacy, and authenticity. The tweet about Yaniv was public knowledge, as it cited a tweet Yaniv posted himself. It was authentic, it was not “platform manipulation,” impersonation, a copyright infringement.

The tweet did not “promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people,” which Twitter says it prohibits.

LifeSite is being denied their platform because they dared report on the insane indignation of a man, who pretends to be a woman, because gynecologists won’t take him on as a patient. It’s almost hard to comprehend the absurdity of it all.

The story LifeSite tweeted was in reference to a tweet Yaniv published, that has since been deleted. As we reported last week, the tweet read:

“So a gynaecologist office that I got referred to literally told me today that ‘we don’t serve transgender patients.’

And me, being me, I’m shocked.. and confused… and hurt.

Are they allowed to do that, legally? Isn’t that against the college practices? @cpsbc_ca

— Jessica Yaniv (@trustednerd) December 3, 2019”

The fact that gynecologists are refusing to see Yaniv as a patient really should not shock or offend anybody. Yaniv does not possess the required physiological make-up to be seen by doctors who literally only specialize in women’s healthcare. The fact that Twitter has banned LifeSite for reporting on this obvious truth is alarming.

For whatever reason, Yaniv appears to be a Twitter darling. This is not the first time an account has been locked for tweets relating to Yaniv. According to Breitbart, Twitter blocked two Canadian journalists for live-tweeting during Yaniv’s criminal trial for illegal possession of a weapon.

A source familiar with the situation said the accounts had been locked for violating the Twitter Rules, although neither suspension is currently permanent.

When reached for comment, Twitter did not specify precisely what rules had been violated or how.

“Twitter suspended our reporter [Keean Bextie] five times for live-tweeting from the court where accused criminal Yaniv is on trial,” reported Rebel Media founder Ezra Levant.

Levant also noted that Anna Slatz, a reporter for The Post Millennial, was also suspended for tweeting about Keean’s suspension. The Post Millennial and Rebel Media have both closely followed the Yaniv trial.

As we’ve profiled in the past on more than one occasion, Yaniv is a man who seems intent on attracting controversy to himself, perhaps to taunt the rest of us with the protected status he enjoys on outlets like Twitter.

If we can’t report the truth about him, that he is, at the end of the day, a he, then the truth is not only dying in our culture. It is officially dead.

If you appreciate the work we are doing to fight the leftist assault on our values, please consider a small donation to help us continue. Thank you so much!
