Marvel Cinematic Universe WON’T Be Getting Its First Trans Character After All

Contrary to a bit of fake news-induced hype, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will not be getting its first transgender superhero just yet.

Earlier this week, BBC News, quoted Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige as saying that the mega-franchise would feature a transgender star “very soon. In a movie that we’re shooting right now.”

Feige made the statement during a guest lecture series for the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles in December. He was asked if the studio had any plans for “bringing more LGBT+ characters into the MCU, specifically the T, trans characters.”

According to Variety, however, two sources close to Marvel Studios clarified that Feige only meant to respond to the first part of the question about LGBT+ characters and he did not mean to imply that a transgender character will be coming to the MCU “very soon.”

At the time of the lecture series, the only MCU movie in production was “Eternals,” which Feige confirmed back in August would have the studio’s first major gay character, though he declined to specify which character it would be.

“He’s married, he’s got a family, and that is just part of who he is,” Feige told Good Morning America while at the D23 Expo in Anaheim.

Disney-owned properties such as Marvel Studios and the Star Wars franchise have long been scolded by LGBT activists for what they claim is insufficient representation of perverted and gender-confused main characters.

In the 23-movie MCU, there is only one single gay character, a one-scene supporting character played by co-director Joe Russo and credited only as “Grieving Man,” whose sole purpose is to show that Captain America, played by raging leftist Chris Evans, is perfectly accepting of homosexuality in spite of growing up in the WWII era.

Star Wars, which released its classic Skywalker Saga’s ninth and final installment last month, drew its fair share of criticism when the film’s much-hyped homosexual kiss turned out to be a “blink-and-you-miss-it” moment in the background of a scene.

While it may seem promising that Disney appears to be listening to its conservative audience who will surely vote with their dollars, do not be deceived.

As we’ve frequently reported, Disney has no qualms about normalizing sexual perversion and confusion—especially in its children’s programming.

Back in 2017, we reported that Disney XD’s “Star vs. The Forces Of Evil” prominently featured a “male princess” and a homosexual kiss.

In Marvel’s Hero Project, a Disney+ exclusive series, a young transgender child was celebrated and honored with his own honorary Marvel comic book character, “Mighty Rebekah,” whose alter ego is “on a mission to shield others from hate, and make the world a safer, more loving place for everyone.”

Christians, we have no business partaking in “entertainment” that glorifies sexual immorality and perversion. The only way to send a message to Disney and other massive corporations like it is with our wallets.

If you appreciate the work we are doing to fight the leftist assault on our values, please consider a small donation to help us continue. Thank you so much!
