We have long warned that the widespread acceptance of sexual immorality in our culture is a slippery slope. It has been less than a decade since the Supreme Court case that rendered same-sex marriage as the “law of the land” and yet look our dramatically our culture has changed.
In just a few short years, it has become mainstream to put preschoolers through “gender transitions” and to argue in favor of pedophilia.
Now, one medical professional is giving justification to pedophilia by claiming that pedophiles are born that way and it’s just who they are.
Robert Bridge, for RT News, reports,
Dr. James Cantor, a neuroscientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), has triggered controversy with a recent interview in which he argues, based on MRI brain scans of convicted child molesters, that “pedophilia begins in the womb.” Strangely, however, no brains of infants or children were examined in the study.
At one point in the interview, it seemed that Cantor was being too kind to “positive pedophiles,” as he politely refers to those individuals who refrain from acting upon their unspeakable impulses. Cantor argues there is a difference between a so-called ‘positive pedophile’ who has committed no crime, and a sexual predator who has violated a child.
“There’s nothing about a pedophile who has never touched anybody, never watched child porn, has a sexual interest pattern he didn’t ask for and can’t get rid of. What did he do wrong,” Cantor asked. “What am I blaming him for?”

While it is true that someone who has a reprehensible attraction to children isn’t guilty of hurting children before acting on their sick sexual desires but the suggestion that pedophiles are just hardwired to be attracted to children nonetheless opens the door for the normalization of mental illness and desire to commit a heinous sin.
Isn’t the term “sexual interest pattern” just another way of saying “sexual orientation” and isn’t that what the entire LGBT movement represents? Like every other “sexual orientation” or “gender identity” isn’t the natural conclusion of declaring individuals cannot help these things the satisfaction of their desires, as in accepting homosexuality and so-called “gender transitions”?
This is far from the first time pedophilia has been discussed publicly as something other than sexual deviance. As Bridge points out, “This appears to be just more identity politics, where sexual predators – the purported ‘victims of nature’ – are entitled not only to a special ranking in the camp of sexual orientations, but to our sympathy as well.”
That is the entire LGBT model summed up in one sentence. Sexual orientation is introduced into society, those who identify as having said sexual orientation become ‘victims,’ special privileges afforded to said ‘victims.’ The model has worked well for gays, lesbians, and transgender individuals thus far.
There’s no reason to believe we aren’t on the edge of permanently adding a P to the end of LGBT.
The mainstream media is the catalyst for this model, without it, the LGBT movement would never have got off the ground.
As Bridge opines:
At this point, it should be remembered that the average American is being inundated by a massive wave of conflicting messages when it comes to the subject of pedophilia. And the media, as to be expected, is only aggravating the situation. Currently, Americans are trying to digest the news about the late sexual deviant Jeffrey Epstein and his private ‘Pedo Island,’ where hundreds of wealthy elites would gather to frolic among an entourage of underage girls. Coming just months after the torch-carrying #MeToo inquisition, the United States looked as if it really needed to check itself into 12-step sex-addiction rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, on the other side of this carnal carnival, the media continues to bombard its captive viewers with an opposing message that says sex and minors go together as naturally as apple pie and Chevrolet. Just ask ‘Desmond is Amazing.’ At the precocious age of 12, this boy from New York is the feature attraction at gay pride parades and strip clubs nationwide. Many people view this salacious exhibitionism as nothing less than pedophilia. Is this the future fate of America where very young boys and girls – far below the age of sexual consent, not to mention puberty – are able to participate in these spectacles? At least one media outlet thinks so.
The media outlet Bridge is referring to is Mashable, who declared, “Desmond Is Amazing is the future and we’re here for it.” Desmond Is Amazing, of course, is the 11-year-old “drag kid” who famously danced at a gay Brooklyn bar while grown men threw dollar bills at him. Desmond is one of many such “drag kids” who are celebrated for wearing women’s clothing and dancing around provocatively.
This is to say nothing of the concerted effort to get graphic sexual education or “drag queen story hour” into schools and in front of children as young as preschoolers. Is it all just to help children embrace who they “truly” are or is this an organized effort towards the greater goal of totally breaking down all barriers to complete sexual freedom.
As they make excuses for those who are sexually attracted to children, they’re encouraging children to be more sexual. How sick is that?
Pray for revival in America. It’s the only thing that will be able to reverse this sick and twisted course. Our nation desperately needs God’s righteous judgment.
