Mom Upset She Can’t Ask Little Boys to Leave the Playground When Her Daughter and Friends Are Playing

The nerve of this woman is absolutely unreal.

Apparently, there are people that are just so unhinged they not only thought it completely reasonable to ask the mother of a little boy to leave the playground because her daughter and her friends were playing together, but she also thought the advice columnist at The Washington Post would completely understand her predicament.

She may be a WaPo columnist, but columnist Carolyn Hax is still clearly someone who can recognize when someone is a completely unreasonable jerk with absolutely no self-awareness, which this ignorant mother clearly is.

Writing to Hax, the anonymous reader, “Playground Drama” lamented that during her daughter’s weekly get-together with other little girls at a local playground, she was unable to effectively ban little boys from playing there at the same time.

When a little boy and his mother showed up to use the public playground, this mom was stunned to find the boy’s bother “seemed angry” when she asked her to kindly take her little boy elsewhere because the girls were trying to have girl-only playtime.

Yes, really.

“If she comes back, is there a better way I can approach her?” the utterly clueless, entitled, bigoted mother wrote. “This has been such a sweet time for moms and daughters, and having a boy there is naturally going to change things. We live in a world where boys get everything and girls are left with the crumbs, and I would think this mom would realize that, but she seems to think her son is entitled to crash this girls-only time. I know I can’t legally keep her from a public park, but can I appeal to her better nature?”

Hex proceeded to, quite appropriately, take her to task:

From The Daily Wire:

“Shooing off the mom and her boy was terrible. And justifying it as a cosmic correction, for which an innocent child bears the weight? And still trying to do this even after you’ve had time to think about it? Wow,” Hax responded.

Hax also suggested that little boy had feelings, and might even display better “girl behavior” than some of the girls at the park. She also pointed out that the boy’s mother is a woman who would seem to be at the mercy of those same “crumbs” the advice seeker mentioned, and may have just wanted to spend time with other moms at the park.

“And if you’re going to accuse anyone of being ‘entitled,’ then ask yourself who just asked the world to bend to whom,” Hax concluded after suggesting the mom hold her anti-boy event on private property.

Perhaps the best person to comment on the nerve of this woman is Christina Hoff Sommers, a woman who literally wrote the book on The War Against Boys:
