NBC Article Calls Having Babies Immoral and Bad For The Earth

Can we just admit the left simply hates babies at this point?

Cultural Marxism is the most prominent ethos of our time and rests entirely on the idea of challenging and destroying mainstream cultural norms that have functioned well for centuries. So it only stands to reason that as the left systematically stands up against heterosexuality, Judeo-Christian morality, the founding tenets of our Republic, and a basic understanding of law and order that they clearly want to destroy babies as well.

Why else would they constantly demand they retain the right to kill babies in the womb for any reason at any time? Why else would they guilt-trip the fertile and constantly paint child-bearing as selfish and irresponsible?

It truly is religious, at the end of the day, as they worship creation and not the Creator, believing that “mother earth” is dying and that the only thing we can do to rectify it is to sacrifice our children to The Cause.

That is pretty much what  Dr. Travis Rieder of the Berman Institute of Bioethics argues in a recent NBC News article that equated having children to unleashing murderous villains on the world.

“If I release a murderer from prison, knowing full well that he intends to kill innocent people, then I bear some responsibility for those deaths — even though the killer is also fully responsible,” he writes. “My having released him doesn’t make him less responsible (he did it!). But his doing it doesn’t eliminate my responsibility either.”

“Something similar is true, I think, when it comes to having children: Once my daughter is an autonomous agent, she will be responsible for her emissions. But that doesn’t negate my responsibility,” he continues.

“Like with any high-cost luxury, we should limit our indulgence” in having children, Rieder argues. “If having one fewer child reduces one’s contribution to the harms of climate change, the choice of family size becomes a morally relevant one.”

“I don’t think there is a tidy answer to the challenging questions of procreative ethics,” he adds, saying that he is “certainly not arguing that we should shame parents, or even that we’re obligated to have a certain number of children.”

“Over-population” has long been used as a justification for the left to detach parenthood from sex and belittle the moral value of a strong family unit.

“Here, once again, we see self-loathing Leftists trashing their fellow human beings, and dressing up their own selfish sexual behavior–which generally involves avoiding forming families and bearing children–as somehow virtuous,” Steven Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute, explains to LifeSiteNews, challenging Rieder’s conclusions.

“We see ‘science’ abused to justify the most radical kind of social changes,” he says, adding that there’s no scientific evidence that “kids are bad for the earth” and “it hasn’t even ‘proved’ that there is such a thing as ‘global warming,'” which is an important reminder.

The thought process of climate hysteria is approaching dangerous new horizons. We have been warned for decades that this kind of rhetoric is anti-human and anti-child and promotes a culture of death, and Rieder’s reasoning, no matter how he spins it, is indicative of just that.
