Because we have been made in the very image of our Creator, each and every single human life has immense value. Few are better equipped to demonstrate that abiding truth than Nick Vujicic, an internationally-known evangelist and author who was born without arms and legs.
In an interview with The Christian Post, Vujicic explained his own journey, lamented the destruction of the family in America, and the value of every human life.
“No matter who that child is, no matter what the doctors say, God has a plan,” Vujicic told the outlet. “When God says He’s got a plan, a good plan, He can take whatever we have and use it for good.”
Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982 to parents whom he says had no idea of his condition until his birth. Now, he runs a ministry called Life Without Limbs, sharing his story around the world and inspiring folks to see the love of God and His plan for every single person.
At February’s Conservative Political Action Conference, Vujicic attended the movie premiere of “Roe v. Wade,” a new film telling the backstory of the infamous U.S. Supreme Court ruling that has enabled the loss of millions and millions of precious lives in America.
When asked about the film, Vujicic told CP he believes America’s love of abortion has resulted from its rejection of God.
“Many people have asked me, especially over the last 18 months, ‘What happened, what really happened in our country for it to be where it is?’ And I really believe that it started with the family,” Vujicic said. “I also believe that it started with the church and understanding that we must hold on to what God has given us, the basics of what He’s given us in Scripture — that all of life has value, that all of life God can use for His purpose. And that even though we don’t get a miracle, we can still be one.”
