Nickelodeon Tweet for #Pride Suggests SpongeBob SquarePants Is Gay

Many believe that Nickelodeon just indicated that SpongeBob SquarePants, the cartoon sponge may have just come as gay as part of the network’s vocal support for Pride, the month-long celebration of all things LGBTQ+ that happens each June.

TMZ reports that while “SpongeBob SquarePants’ sexuality has entered the chat” after a recent tweet from Nickelodeon indicates that “lo and behold, the Bikini Bottom dweller might be, as many suspected for years, gay.”

The tweet includes three well-known characters, Schwoz Schwartz from “Henry Danger,” Korra from the “Legend of Korra,” and SpongeBob, pictured in front of rainbow backgrounds.

The famed cartoon sponge is also sporting a rainbow tie.

TMZ explains the deduction that this equates an admission that SpongeBob (again, we’re talking about an animated sea sponge) is, indeed, a homosexual:

All of the characters — Sponge, Schwoz Schwartz from ‘Henry Danger,’ and Korra from the ‘Avatar’ spin-off show ‘Legend of Korra’ — are featured in a rainbow color background.

Sigh.

Whether or not this is some kind of hint that Nickelodeon has decided the fictional, animated invertebrate is also somehow homosexual (sea sponges are actually mostly hermaphrodites, if you want to get really technical, as if there was even a serious discussion to be had here), this is a clear signal that even children’s shows are not safe from the LGBT agenda.

We’ve been reporting for years the slow but steady progress in children’s television programming to normalize and embrace homosexuality, and it probably won’t be long before homosexual and trans characters are regular fixtures on shows aimed at children who are far too young to grapple with sexual and gender confusion.

If you believe that children should be spared from this cultural battle, it’s time to get up and fight it yourself. If not us, then who? It’s already barely a blip on the radar that SpongeBob may have just “come out.” It is up to moral, God-fearing mothers and fathers like yourself to stand up for the innocence of our children before it is far, far too late.
