Peak Irony: Planned Parenthood Supports Biden’s 100-Day Mask Plan to “Save Lives”

Planned Parenthood has expressed its support of President Joe Biden’s “100-day mask challenge” in an effort to save lives.

Yes, really. The abortion behemoth responsible for the deaths of over 300,000 preborn children each year is virtue-signaling in favor of a mask plan in order to save lives. The irony is painful.

“Mask up,” said a Thursday tweet from Planned Parenthood Action, the activism wing of the abortion nonprofit. “We can save 50k lives.”

Nevermind the fact that Planned Parenthood could save that many lives in little more than half the time by simply ending their practice of slaughtering and harvesting the unborn for cash.

Planned Parenthood’s tweet follows a speech by Biden from the White House in which he claimed that by “wearing a mask from now until April … we can save 50,000 lives.” Biden also declared that his new COVID-19 response plan is “based on science, not politics.”

Demonstrating what is likely the beginning of a long and happy relationship between the Biden administration and the abortion giant, Planned Parenthood was apparently listed as a beneficiary of donations made for the flags which took the place of spectators on the National Mall during Biden’s inauguration.

Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson proclaimed in a recent interview with The Washington Post that her organization is “a proud abortion provider. We believe that abortion is health care, and we believe, fundamentally, that self-determination begins with being able to control your own body and freedom begins with being able to control your own body.”

As if Planned Parenthood’s hideous lack of self-awareness wasn’t bad enough, it appears the Biden admin can’t even keep up with their own mask rules.

According to LifeSiteNews, Biden and his family went to the Lincoln Memorial with their faces exposed just hours after signing an executive order mandating the wearing of masks on any federal land. Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki, defended the president’s disregard for his own rules, saying he was “celebrating an evening of a historic day in our country” and that there are “bigger issues to worry about.”

Oh, and of course, Psaki wasn’t wearing a mask either.

“He was celebrating an evening of a historic day in our country,” Psaki answered a reporter asking about the incident, as though one can’t celebrate while wearing a mask. “Certainly he signed the mask mandate because it’s a way to send a message to the American public about the importance of wearing masks, how it can save tens of thousands of lives,” Psaki said during a Thursday press briefing, reaffirming what many have long suspected: that masks are more about good optics than good medicine.
