In what can only be described as an extraordinarily ironic statement, Planned Parenthood has thrown their support behind former Vice President Joe Biden in what they’re calling “literally a life and death election” and yes, that is a real quote.
The abortion giant, who Discrn notes reportedly performs a third of all abortions in the United States, released a video on Monday announcing the endorsement. Biden is the Democratic party’s presumed presidential nomination for November’s general election.
“Americans need a president who will empower women, families and young people,” the political action committee’s acting President Alexis Johnson said in the endorsement, according to Just the News.
While active president of Planned Parenthood, Alexis McGill Johnson, told NPR that “This is literally a life and death election.”
“We felt like we can’t endure another four years of Trump; we have to do everything we can to get him out of office,” she said.
Of course, were Biden elected, the number of abortions in the United States would inevitably increase. So yes, this is a life and death election. What’s disturbing is that Planned Parenthood is actually rooting for the outcome in which they’ll be allowed to kill more babies.
In the video, Biden vows his support to further Planned Parenthood’s cause by reversing “the global gag rule, and the domestic gag rule, restoring the Title X program.”

The “gag rules” to which Biden referred are stipulations in the federal code that forbid international and domestic funding for family planning organizations that perform, or refer patients to, abortions.
The global order was originally passed under Ronald Reagan. It was subsequently rescinded by the Clinton administration, re-implemented by the George W. Bush administration, repealed by the Obama administration, and finally re-instated by the Trump administration shortly after Trump took office.
The domestic version of the rule, meanwhile, was finalized by the Trump administration in early 2019.
“I’m proud to stand with you in this fight,” Biden says in the video, declaring his administration “will protect women’s constitutional right to choose.”
Every single citizen of this nation, newly conceived or otherwise, has the right to life, first and foremost, and Biden has made perfectly clear he is not interested in protecting that of the unborn.
How can we expect him to protect the rights of any Americans if he won’t protect the rights of the most innocent among us?
