In a new guide for parents of preschool-aged children, Planned Parenthood declares “genitals don’t make you a boy or girl” and warns against reinforcing “gender stereotypes” that might make a child think that – horror of horrors – being heterosexual is normal.
“It’s common for preschoolers to have questions about genitals and how bodies look different for boys and girls,” the guide – available on Planned Parenthood’s website here – states.
“While the most simple answer is that girls have vulvas and boys have penises/testicles, that answer isn’t true for every boy and girl.”
The guide goes on to state that “boy, girl, man, and woman are words that describe gender identity, and some people with gender identities ‘boy’ or ‘man’ have vulvas, and some with the gender identity ‘girl’ or ‘woman’ have penises/testicles.”
To solve this dilemma, the guide suggests that parents tell their kids, “most girls have vulvas and most boys have penises/testicles” while emphasizing that body parts “don’t tell you much.”
It gets worse.
Further on in its guide, Planned Parenthood suggests that parents ought to be careful they don’t unintentionally force their child into thinking heterosexuality is normal.
“Be thoughtful about your choices when it comes to books, toys, entertainment, clothes, decorations, and other things you surround your little one with,” the guide states.
“These choices have an influence on your kid’s understanding of gender and what it means. Putting daughters in pink princess rooms and boys in blue sports rooms before they’re old enough to choose for themselves can send the message that they have to like certain things because of their gender.”
Further, the guide tells parents, “when you pick a new toy or book, or sign your kid up for a new activity… think through whether or not you’re reinforcing gender stereotypes.”
“Talking to (or in front of) your daughter about growing up and having boyfriends or marrying a man (and vice versa) sends the message that girls are supposed to like boys, and boys are supposed to like girls, and that anything else is wrong or not normal,” Planned Parenthood further warns.
So, to summarize, progressives scoff at the idea that a child’s surroundings could turn them gay while warning parents in guides like Planned Parenthood’s that normal behavior could indoctrinate a child into thinking being normal is normal.
As noted by The Daily Caller, Planned Parenthood’s stance on the issue of biology has changed quite a bit over the past several years.
In a previous guide, the organization instructed parents to tell their children that “boys have penises and girls have vulvas.”
It appears that science has taken a backseat these days in whatever car the left is driving down the road to damnation.
