March For Life has officially confirmed that President Donald Trump will make history by becoming the first sitting president to speak at the massive pro-life event’s 47th annual march on Washington DC.
Trump tweeted on Wednesday that he plans to attend the march, which takes place today, saying, “See you on Friday…Big Crowd!”

While March For Life events take place all over the nation, the flagship march in DC is expected to draw 100,000 activists to the nation’s capital.
“We are deeply honored to welcome President Trump to the 47th annual March for Life,” March for Life president Jeanne Mancini said in a statement later that day. “He will be the first president in history to attend and we are so excited for him to experience in person how passionate our marchers are about life and protecting the unborn.”
“From the appointment of pro-life judges and federal workers, to cutting taxpayer funding for abortions here and abroad, to calling for an end to late-term abortions, President Trump and his Administration have been consistent champions for life and their support for the March for Life has been unwavering. We are grateful for all these pro-life accomplishments and look forward to gaining more victories for life in the future,” Mancini wrote.
Naturally, stacks of leftist news outlets are mocking the president for “throwing red meat” to his evangelical voter base.
Planned Parenthood denounced the president’s plan to speak, with Acting President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson calling it “Further confirmation that the sitting President of the United States is determined to end the American people’s ability to access abortion.”

The march takes place on or arround the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s January 22 1973 decision on Roe v. Wade, the case which galvanized at the federal level the “right” of American women to hire a doctor to act as a prenatal hitman and kill her child.
On the actual anniversary of the decision, President Trump also made history by declaring it to be National Sanctity of Human Life Day.
“Today, I call on the Congress to join me in protecting and defending the dignity of every human life, including those not yet born,” Trump said according to a White House statement. “I call on the American people to continue to care for women in unexpected pregnancies and to support adoption and foster care in a more meaningful way, so every child can have a loving home.”
This is fantastic news—make no mistake—but let’s not forget our mission here. Our mission is to actually end the slaughter of unborn children, not just talk about it, and certainly not just acknowledge the sanctity of human life without denouncing every instance of deliberate snuffing out of that life.
POTUS certainly has made efforts to curb pro-abortion policy at home and around the world, but we must hold him to his word.
We must call on all of our leaders, especially our commander in chief, to act to end abortion. We will not rest until every baby is safe from the vacuum, the forceps, the abortion pill. As long as we enjoy our own God-given right to live, we will not stop fighting for theirs.
If you appreciate the work we are doing to fight the leftist assault on our values, please consider a small donation to help us continue. Thank you so much!
