Pro-Life Candidates Must Win Georgia’s Runoff Race to Save the Senate From Democrats

As Democrats gain control of the U.S. House of Representatives—and potentially the White House—a Republican-led Senate is America’s only hope for standing against their radically pro-abortion agenda.

If a high-stakes runoff election in Georgia should go to the Democrats, however, even the Senate will be flipped blue.

According to Life News, the January races between U.S. Sen. Kelly Loeffler and pro-abortion Democrat Raphael Warnock and U.S. Sen. David Perdue and pro-abortion Democrat Jon Ossoff will determine into which party’s hands control of the Senate will fall in 2021.

While both Sens. Loeffler and Perdue beat their Democratic challengers by the popular vote on Election Day, neither met the 50-percent threshold required to win, sending both races to a runoff election next year.

“Regardless of who is officially declared President-Elect, we know that the future of the Senate will come down to Georgia’s runoff elections, and I cannot understate how important it will be to maintain a pro-life Senate majority,” said Tom McClusky, president of March for Life Action, according to Life News.

Several pro-life organizations including March for Life Action, Susan B. Anthony List, and National Right to Life are working overtime to support Loeffler and Perdue. If they lose and Democrats take the U.S. Senate, McClusky says the lives of even more unborn children will be in jeopardy.

“If we end up with a pro-abortion Democrat-controlled House, Senate and White House, we could expect to lose decades of pro-life protections at breakneck speeds,” McClusky said. “If we maintain the Republican majority in the Senate, however, we will work more effectively to block pro-abortion bills from passing and save pro-life bills from destruction.”

The stakes have never been higher. While the only true solution is to treat abortion as murder—which it is—and end it once and for all, we must defeat these Democrats that would see the slaughter of the unborn become commonplace. If elected, Warnock and Ossoff will surely work toward the Democrat goal of forcing taxpayers to fund abortion, packing the Supreme Court with pro-abortion activist judges, and more.

“We are going all in for pro-life champions Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue,” declared Mallory Quigley, national spokeswoman for the pro-life Women Speak Out PAC, which plans to spend $4 million to support Perdue and Loeffler. “The outcomes of these races will determine the fate of the U.S. Senate and our nation.”
