An author and academic who was recently suspended on Twitter for referring to a left-wing counterpart as a “groomer” has now been permanently banned for calling a Harvard instructor a “child sexualization specialist.”

James Lindsay, a mathematician and author who is critical of the academic critical theory behind much of today’s “social justice” movement, appears to have used the latter term in lieu of the banned term “groomer,” which has recently become to be considered “hate speech” by the Big Tech platform.

In an email sent to Lindsay which he shared with The Post Millennial, his offending tweet purportedly promoted “violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

The recipient of his remark, Alejandra Caraballo, is a trans clinical instructor at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic, according to The Blaze, and appears to use Twitter to issue a slew of rhetoric pushing back against concerns that a highly sexualized culture is dangerous to children and enabling to child sex predators.

Caraballo had apparently quote-tweeted something Lindsey had tweeted and said, “Your misogynoir is showing.”

This seems to have prompted the reply from Lindsey, which Caraballo then reported, ultimately getting Lindsay banned from the platform.

“We suspended @ConceptualJames’s account for breaking our hateful conduct rule. We found they broke our hateful conduct rule through different reports received about their behavior,” Twitter explained to Caraballo in a notification responding to the report for “hateful conduct.”

“They aren’t allowed to create new accounts. We let people know that they’ve suspended, the safety rules they broke, and which content broke our rules,” it read.

In a statement to The Post Millennial, Lindsay noted that “Twitter has inconvenienced me and simultaneously confessed that they have a vested interest in protecting the sexualization of children. This also suggests the possibility of an untoward relationship between Twitter and Media Matters, which deserves investigation,” he said.

Media Matters is a left-wing organization which had floated the suggestion that “groomer” be considered “hate speech” before Lindsay was ultimately suspended for using the term to refer to an LGBT staffer at the outlet while clashing over the idea.

However, Lindsay added, “I’m glad they’ve drawn so much attention to the issue, in any case. It has to stop. We must protect our children.”
