The already preposterous impeachment hearings against President Trump became a literal circus when a red latex-clad drag queen in a massive blonde wig appeared on the scene.
“Pissi Myles” of Asbury Park, New Jersey was seen “sashaying” into the Longworth Building reporting on proceedings for Happs News.
“It’s a crazy day in Washington! I’m flipping my wig over the high-energy proceedings today,” he said, according to NBC News. “Tensions are high, and the bar for who’s allowed in the Longworth House is very, very low.”
C-SPAN first captured Pyles’ entrance into the building as a security guard scanned his bouffant wig with a metal detector:

“Someone did just ask me last night if there’s anything in D.C. that surprises me anymore,” remarked NBC News’ Heidi Przybyla in a tweet Wednesday morning from Capitol Hill on Myles’ grand entrance.

According to Pyles’ website, he is the producer of such acts as “Ham and Milk: An Unbalanced Meal with NYC’s The Dairy Queens, Ham and Meth with famed London queen Meth, and [his] monthly comedy show What Makes Me Pissi at L’Etage in Philadelphia.”
Drag queens’ infiltration of every corner of society is well on its way to becoming commonplace. How disappointing—yet unsurprising—that this is our new normal in America. Men strolling into even the most formal settings in minimal clothing and hideous makeup shouldn’t be laughed at, and we must not allow it to be normalized.
