Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had some harsh words for the violent acts against pro-life pregnancy centers and organizations as well as the attempted murder of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in recent weeks as radical pro-abortion groups react to the news that the high court could overturn Roe v. Wade.

Appearing on Fox & Friends on Monday, DeSantis referred to the dozens of such attacks as an “insurrection” and slammed the media and his political opponents for failing to pay attention to the violent attacks.

“I think that we have a rule of law in this country, and you don’t get to just have a mob descend on Supreme Court justice’s house or try to impede the operations of government because there may be a decision you don’t like,” he said, as LifeNews reported. “That would be considered an insurrection to stop a court from functioning, and yet they seem to be able to get away with a lot more than if the shoe were on the other foot.”

“You had someone travel from… halfway around the country to come and murder Justice Kavanaugh,” he continued. “And that was like not even significant news in a lot of the mainstream media.”

Last week, a man was arrested and charged with attempted murder after police say he tried to break into Kavanaugh’s home with the expressed intent of killing him in retaliation for his expected position on Roe as well as potential cases involving gun control.

This came as pro-abortion groups have been protesting outside Kavanaugh’s home as well as other conservative justices’ homes and a violent extremist group, “Jane’s Revenge,” has taken credit for a number of attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and activist groups.

The groups have openly vowed chaos, rioting, and more violent attacks if pro-life pregnancy centers and groups to do not close down, and a “night of rage” should the high court overturn Roe.

“They’re trying to change the outcome of decisions that they are concerned that they don’t like, and that is just totally antithetical to the rule of law,” DeSantis stated.
