A second CNN producer has been accused of sexual impropriety involving children, or “serious allegations involving potential juvenile victims,” according to law enforcement.

Rick Saleeby, a former producer for Jake Tapper’s “The Lead,” resigned from the network after allegations arose that he had solicited explicit images of a 15-year-old, which was originally reported by the guerilla investigative journalism of Project Veritas.

Police in Fairfax County, Virginia confirmed to Fox News that they have launched a probe into Saleeby over “serious allegations involving potential juvenile victims,” and that “detectives assigned to the Child Exploitation Squad of the Major Crimes Bureau are leading this investigation.”

This comes just weeks after CNN producer John Griffin was arrested and charged with crimes relating to his alleged attempts to conduct “training” sessions for mothers and daughter over video chat to teach underage girls to be “sexually subservient” as well as paying a woman to fly her daughter to his Vermont ski lodge so he could abuse the child.

Griffin, who once worked with now-ousted former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, who was fired earlier this month over the role he played in crafting a media response to his brother now-former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s own sex scandal, was also fired from CNN following his arrest.

Saleeby reportedly sent several explicit text messages about a teenage girl, described crimes he wanted to commit against her, and asked for nude photos of her.

Police confirmed to Fox News that they had been in contact with Project Vertias, which reported they’d been given the text messages by a source.

“While we will eventually be transparent about our findings, safeguarding the personal privacy and safety of victims and witnesses as well as maintaining the integrity of our criminal investigation are of paramount importance,” the Fairfax County Police said in a statement.
