Swipe posts (carousels) are some of the most shared content on Elizabeth's Instagram, because people share what they want their friends to read. Hannah breaks down a post that reached 243,000 views and more than 3,500 shares, then rebuilds it with you three ways: in Canva, with ChatGPT drafting the slides, and directly inside the Instagram app with nothing but your phone. You will learn the 4:5 portrait size that takes up the most screen, how to repurpose a post that already performed instead of starting from zero, the handwriting and Notes-app styles Elizabeth's audience responds to, and the small readability moves (shadows, gradients, colors pulled from the photo) that stop the scroll. Built for busy parents. Hannah is a part-time nanny and makes these on her phone while the baby naps.

How to Edit a Vertical Video for More Views

Elizabeth's team stopped making polished camera content and switched to phone videos, and views went up, not down. Hannah shows you why, then edits a real talk-to-camera clip of Elizabeth's from raw footage to ready-to-post inside the free Instagram Edits app. You will watch her cut every pause so the video moves, find the hook in the first two seconds, pull the most emotional moment to the front as a preview, add an on-screen hook line, generate and correct captions, and match colors to the shot. She covers the length that works (30 to 90 seconds when you can, up to three minutes when the story needs it), the lighting rule that costs nothing (face the window, never sit in front of it), and her favorite test: show the edit to someone who will tell you the truth, then cut more. Elizabeth appears at the end as the final reviewer, so you see how a post actually gets approved.

  • Trim, split, and tighten a phone video in Instagram Edits so the hook lands inside two seconds and no pause survives.
