Sleek New Suicide Machine Makes Killing Yourself As Easy as Taking Online Quiz

We live in a culture that glorifies death.

From euthanasia to abortion to disgusting movies that glorify gore and torture, the value of human life has been drastically reduced.

The culprit is secular humanism, the viewpoint that we are nothing more than highly evolved apes and that our lives have no more significance than the enjoyment, or lack thereof, that we may experience in our life on earth.

This is the foundation for arguments in favor of abortion or euthanasia that claim an uncomfortable life is worse than death. If a child is unplanned and might present a financial burden to their parents, it is more merciful to murder it, and if a person suffers from mental illness or a terminal disease, it is better to allow them to end their lives according to their choosing.

This is obviously the idea behind a sleek, fancy new suicide machine that Australia’s top euthanasia advocate is developing.

LifeSiteNews reports that the design for Dr. Philip Nitschke’s “Sarco Capsule” will be open source and can be produced using a 3D printer, making it theoretically accessible to anyone.

“Sarco does not use any restricted drugs, or require any special expertise such as the insertion of an intravenous needle. Anyone who can pass the entry test, can enter the machine and legally end their life,” Nitschke says.

LifeSiteNews explains how it works:

Access to the Sarco capsule will be by an on-line mental questionnaire which will provide a four-digit access code.

When the person lies in the capsule, he can activate it and liquid nitrogen will rapidly drop the oxygen level, leading to death a few minutes.

The novel feature is that the capsule can be detached from the Sarco machine and used as a sleek and shiny coffin. The machine base can be re-used.

To call this grim would be an understatement. How can this much effort be put into helping someone to end their lives rather than reaching out to them and letting them know the value of it instead?

Life is a precious gift given to us by our Creator. No matter how much “science” there is to defend evolutionary theory, there is as yet no possible explanation for where animus, life itself, came from, but we who follow the One who Created us know.

Jesus is life (John 14:6), and that is why all Creation was made through Him (John 1:3). We need to combat this grim development with the Good News of our life-giving Lord. There is no such thing as death with dignity if it happens without knowing Him!
