Super Bowl champion Van Jefferson enjoyed more than just a big football victory on Sunday after he rushed away from his team’s victory celebrations to be with his wife, who delivered his baby son just hours after the Los Angeles Rams won the big game.
Jefferson’s wife and high school sweetheart, Samaria Jefferson, was due February 17 but, determined to be in the stands with the couple’s daughter, was rushed out of the stadium on a stretcher after going into labor, CBN News reported.
I'm pretty sure I just saw Van Jefferson's wife leaving the stadium on a stretcher about to have their baby. Talk about dedication.

According to Mediaite, Jefferson followed immediately after the final whistle, stopping only to gather up his 5-year-old daughter, to be with his wife while she delivered.
The sweet moment he found out was captured on camera before he rushed off:

Van Jefferson grabbed his daughter as she and his dad came into the field and sprinted through the locker room and is heading to the hospital right now. Samaria, his wife, is having their son and was rushed to the hospital mid-game as she went into labor.
