For some reason, these art activists felt it would make some kind of statement about female empowerment to display a fully naked statue of a woman for all to freely ogle and objectify. Let's call this "Slut March" logic. The artists, of course, have a more long-winded explanation for why the woman is naked.
We were contacted recently by a concerned Brazilian mother who was outraged about an "art" exhibition that featured contact between young girls and nude men. The images she sent us, of little girls touching and holding hands with a grown, fully nude man, are highly disturbing, but the artist and the museum who hosted him simply brush the whole incident off as "art."
Why on earth do leftists constantly complain about sexism and objectification of women and then turn around and celebrate naked women? It's so confusing.
