Singer Taylor Swift recently slammed billionaire George Soros and his family in an Instagram post in which she claimed that her music is being used as a “moneymaking tool” without her permission, Infowars reports.
In a continuation of her ongoing feud with former manager Scooter Braun, Swift claims the release of a recent album, featuring a live radio concert she did in 2008, was released without her approval and also took aim at Braun’s financial backers, which include the Soroses.
“Hey guys – I want to thank my fans for making me aware that my former record label is putting out an ‘album’ of live performances of mine tonight,” Swift started in her Instagram story post.
“I’m always honest with you guys about this stuff so I just wanted to tell you that this release is not approved by me. It looks to me like Scooter Braun and his financial backers, 23 Capital, Alex Soros and the Soros family and The Carlyle Group have seen the latest balance sheets and realized that paying $330 MILLION for my music wasn’t exactly a wise choice and they need the money.”
“In my opinion…Just another case of shameless greed in the time of Coronavirus. So tasteless, but very transparent,” she added.
Swift has been in an ongoing battle with Braun after he purchased her entire music catalog in 2019 with the financial backing of the Soros family. George Soros is notoriously for the hundreds of millions of dollars he spends investing in the progressive political agenda and the politicians dedicated to bringing it to fruition.
Swift has also been a vocal supporter of leftist politicians and the agenda but, as the Washington Free Beacon points out, only as long as they are not “interfering with her music career.”
