Several anti-Trump Twitter users appeared to glorify accused child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell this week by way of expressing hope that the notorious Jeffrey Epstein associate had dirt that could take down President Donald Trump.
Maxwell, Epstein’s one-time girlfriend and long time associate was arrested earlier this month and now faces charges relating to the long-alleged sex trafficking activity the late Epstein stood charged with facilitating when he perished in prison last year (we are sure every reader has their own opinion as to whether or not he did, indeed, take his own life as was recorded by the New York Medical Examiner, but we digress).
The notorious socialite was denied bail on Tuesday by a New York federal judge.
Ahead of this bail hearing, a Twitter account belonging to a self-professed, pro-Joe Biden progressive with a moderate following, Hunter Cullen, wrote: “Tomorrow could get REAL ugly. Ghislaine Maxwell has her day in court. She could (be) the one that brings down Trump and the mob, unless it’s the treason and financials.”
“Remember, it was ALWAYS going to be a woman,” he added in a now-deleted tweet.
This is certainly a tone-deaf tweet about a woman who it has been alleged by Epstein accusers enticed minors to engage in sexual acts with him and even abused them herself. In fact, one of Epstein’s most well-known alleged victims, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, claims she was the mastermind behind the sick operation.
Giuffre has long accused Maxwell of grooming her, abusing her, and forcing her to have sex with the U.K.’s Prince Andrew when she was just 17 years old.
“She is a monster. She’s worse than Epstein. She did things even worse than Epstein did. She was vicious. She was evil. And she’s a woman,” Giuffre told CBS’ Gail King, also claiming that Maxwell was “pulling the strings.”
“Put it this way: Epstein was Pinocchio, and she was Geppetto. She was the guy controlling Jeffrey,” she said.
So perhaps Cullen was right to delete his tweet. But the comments that flooded in from other excited leftists hoping Maxwell will bring down President Trump seem to have been written by those who have abandoned any semblance of wanting to maintain the moral high ground.

“Get it girl,” wrote one, along with a cartoon of Lady Justice thwarting as an animated Trump appears to attempt to attack Lady Liberty.
“YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!” wrote another along with an image of Rosie the Riveter.
“We can do it!” wrote another.
Of course, many on Twitter were appalled that anyone would express support for Maxwell as if she were some sort of hero.
“I am losing my mind,” commented Louis Peitzman in a tweet including many screenshots of the comments.
“People ‘yass queen’ing an elite pedophile sex trafficker is peak girlboss feminism and I have officially seen enough,” wrote one popular account.

Meanwhile, while it’s certainly possible that Maxwell and Epstein, of whom it has been said kept tapes of his wealthy and powerful friends’ encounters with underage girls on his many properties, also have dirt on Trump, comments Giuffre herself indicate there’s a good chance they don’t.
“It’s true that he didn’t partake in any sex with us, but it’s not true that he flirted with me. Donald Trump never flirted with me,” Giuffre, who was groomed by Maxwell while working at Trump’s Mar-o-Lago resort, has said.
It is well-established that Trump has consorted with both Epstein and Maxwell, but he has not been named by any of their accusers or victims. Former President Bill Clinton and the Duke of York remain the most well-known alleged participants in the notorious pedophile’s sex ring.
