Undercover Child Predator Sting Results in 17 Arrests Including 3 Disney World Employees

An undercover sting operation targeting child sex predators turned up 17 arrests in Central Florida, including 3 employees of Orlando’s Walt Disney World.

Last week, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office revealed the details of “Operation Child Protector,” a six-day investigation conducted by several agencies.

Sheriff Grady Judd explained that the individuals who were arrested all attempted to coordinate sexual encounters with what they believed to be children. When they showed up to commit the abuse, however, they were met by undercover officers who had posed as children online.

“These are nasty, nasty, nasty people, and when we go through this, understand that obviously, we can’t even use the words they used,” Judd said. “We obviously can’t show you the pictures and the video clips that they sent to what they thought were 13-year-old little girls and little boys.”

Two of the individuals arrested were a couple, both employees of Disney World, who had tried to arrange to act out a sexual role play fantasy with someone they believed was a 13-year-old girl. The couple, Savannah and Jonathan McGrew, worked as custodians at Disney Hollywood Studios, part of the Disney World resort.

“Are you kidding me? That’s how you’re talking to 13-year-old children,” Judd said.

Truly despicable indeed.

Meanwhile, one Kenneth Javier Aquino, who worked as a lifeguard at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge, showed up in his work clothes at the location where he believed he was meeting a child for a sexual encounter, but where he was met by undercover law enforcement officers instead.

Authorities say he had a pregnant girlfriend at home.

The sheriff explained that Aquino was a Navy veteran. He explained that the perp had been “working toward a dive team or a SEAL team or some kind of special ops job. They did a background check on him and found he had friends or affiliates that were gang members, and they tossed him.”

Another suspect arrested in the sting was HIV positive, but had arranged to have sex with what he believed to be an underage girl. This individual was not named.

“Fortunately, our detectives were there instead of the 13-year-old child, but guess what? Had it been a curious little girl as opposed to our very experienced detectives, she would have been directly exposed to HIV,” Sheriff Judd explained.

One does shudder to ponder if people this depraved have managed to get away with their sick predation with real children in the past.

Meanwhile, as we have documented, children are being increasingly exposed to pornography online, that is, if they’re not also being subject to pornographic sex ed programs in their taxpayer-funded public schools or even elite Manhattan prep schools.

A disturbing report out of the U.K. earlier this year revealed that children are even able to bypass mechanisms the website OnlyFans, on which users can upload amateur pornography for cash, has in place to prevent minors from accessing or uploading content.

In some cases, these minors are blackmailed by depraved followers who threaten to expose them to family members if they do not continue to upload content.

Pornography is rampant, and as we have clearly learned, massive websites like PornHub simply have not done enough in the past—perhaps continue to fail to do enough to day—to prevent child exploitation videos from being uploaded.

Children are being preyed upon from multiple angles. This is a widespread cultural problem, and as commendable as it is that these law enforcement agencies managed to catch these sick predators in their nets, clearly, much more needs to be done to protect real children who are being made the victims of successful predators online.
