WATCH: Media Narrative Destroyed By Pro-2A Activists At Virginia Capitol

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Virginia’s battle over the Second Amendment in recent weeks, and stood proudly behind the many law-abiding, decent 2A advocates who descended on the Capitol building Monday to send their message loudly and clearly to the Democrat-majority state legislature and Governor.

While it got little coverage on the mainstream media, the turnout was incredible.

Just look at these crowds!

While the mainstream media, ahead of the event, painted a typically inaccurate picture of just the kinds of people who were going to show up to protest the proposed gun control measures supported by Democrat Governor Ralph Northam.

One NBC News” reporter,” Ben Collins, even went as far as to outright refer to the event as a “white supremacist” rally in a now-deleted tweet, according to Breitbart:

Reporters covering tomorrow’s white nationalist rally in Virginia, I’m absolutely begging you:

Verify information before you send it out tomorrow, even if it’s a very sensational rumor you heard from a cop.

Don’t become a hero in neo-Nazi propaganda circles with made-up stuff.

However, many of Monday’s Second Amendment supporters, like this gentleman, boldly challenge the left’s perpetual narrative on “racist” gun owners.

“I do not in any way, shape, or form support Governor Northam’s and the Democrat’s gun control,” the man told reporters.

“What I also don’t support is the fact that every news piece you’ve seen on this, this weekend, they’ve always brought up the issue of race, as though it’s nothing but white rednecks and hillbillies out here who care for the Second Amendment,” he continued.

“When Actually, black Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Americans in general, care about the Second Amendment.”

Then there was this gentleman, who was asked “Sir, are you a white supremacist”? Check out his answer:

Black Guns Matter was also in attendance:

Gun rights have nothing to do with race, color, creed, or even “gender identity.” That’s right: we may not support the LGBT lifestyle here at Activist Mommy, but we agree with these guys on the Second Amendment:

Gun rights are human rights. If there’s one thing we should come together as Americans during this divisive time, it’s the natural right that the Founding Fathers enshrined in our Constitution to empower the people to protect every other right.

The Second Amendment is not political, it’s sacred. These activists represent all of us in every state in the vital battle to guarantee that the right to keep and bear arms shall never be infringed.
