Woman Looking to Sue Uber Driver After He Refused to Drive Her to Abortion Clinic

A 20-year-old college student has reported an Uber driver for refusing to take her to an abortion clinic.  According to a report by Yahoo! Style (UK) Uber has fired the pro-life driver.

According to a post she made on Reddit, the young lady is a college student in upstate NY and does not have a car.  When she discovered she was pregnant.  Naturally, she did not want to actually have a baby so she and her very supportive boyfriend (what a gem!) decided on abortion.

Sadly, she was convinced this was the right “choice” apparently.

She claims she is “in no position to care for a child.”  It would be wonderful if more young women thought of this before engaging in unprotected sex.

After finding an abortion clinic about an hour from her school, she ordered a ride from Uber which led to an unexpected encounter with a pro-life driver unwilling to violate his conscience.

The driver first attempted to talk her out of going through with her abortion.  He shared with her personal information about his wife being pregnant and the gory details of abortion that they don’t tell women in the pamphlets.  According to her Reddit post, she said he told her “you’re going to regret this decision for the rest of your life.”  Something that is true for many, many women who fall victim to the lies of the abortion industry.

When they got about half-way there and it became clear to the driver that he was not going to dissuade her from murdering her unborn baby, he pulled over and told her plainly he would not be able to take her to the clinic.  He offered to take her back to where they came from but she refused and instead got out and called a local cab.  She made it to her appointment an hour late and was able to go through with the abortion, successfully putting an end to the life of her unborn child.

Although she was able to get the man fired as an Uber driver, this woman was apparently dissatisfied.

So now she’d like to sue him.

Her post on Reddit says, “I’d like to pursue further legal action against the driver if at all possible.  Do I have a case?  What should my next steps be?”  She added, “I reached out to a law firm and a few legal aid societies but nothing has happened.  I’m not sure what I should do now.”

The question that remains is why, if this woman was successful at procuring the abortion procedure (tragically), does she still feel the need to punish this man further when all he did was try to save the life of her unborn child, not to mention spare her of the horrors abortion inflicts on a woman?

Because she’s a leftist. The pro-abort left doesn’t actually care about choice, they care about forcing those they disagree with to acquiesce to their ideology or face punishment.

We should, ultimately, pray for this young woman. At the end of the day, she may be seeking to punish the Uber driver for something she did, something he tried to stop her from doing.

Abortion regret is real, and while it might take the form at lashing out at those who warn against the dangers of abortion, those suffering from it deserve our prayers nonetheless.
