This is so beyond insane.
In just a few short years, in the eyes of Bill Nye the “Science” guy and Netflix, at least, well-established scientific facts on human biology are in need of editing. And not because new science has been uncovered, but because a purely social and cultural movement is now living in denial of said human biology.
That’s right–we’re talking the X and Y chromosomes.

The video streaming service Netflix features several of Nye’s educational children’s shows. One explained how XX and XY chromosomes determine gender. But extremists consider this scientific truth taboo and view gender as self-chosen and in flux. And so Netflix simply altered the segment.
The original 1996 Nye program explained the facts: “Inside each of our cells are these things called chromosomes, and they control whether we become a boy or a girl,” a teenage girl taught. “Before you’re born, your mom gives you one of her chromosomes, and your dad gives you one of his. Mom always gives you an X, and if dad gives you an X, too, then you become a girl. But if he gives you his Y, then you become a boy.”
“See, there are only two possibilities: XX, a girl, or XY, a boy,” Nye’s show taught.

Life Site News claims that Netflix has cut out these biological facts, opting instead for Nye’s new show, which you may remember had a completely baseless lesson on the “gender spectrum” followed by an incredibly inappropriate and vulgar musical act about…ahem…”sex junk.”
Netflix and Bill Nye can try to revise science all they want to, and free Americans can dress or “identify” however they please. But the internet is forever and even Nye’s own classic show taught us everything we need to know about the scientific basis for gender. And you nor I nor anyone else needs to lie just to ensure others have their rights intact.
